Incline Village’s Trail of Treats & Terror is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, at Village Green and the Fitness Trails. The Halloween gathering runs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 960 Lakeshore Blvd. Families can move through a spooky trail, take a family picture and enjoy food, drinks and other seasonal activities. Costumes are encouraged.

The event is designed as a safe Halloween celebration for the Incline Village and Crystal Bay communities. It has been an annual tradition since 2001 and is free to attend. Organizers say additional information and registration details are expected in the fall.

Community support helps make the event possible. Volunteers can assist with planning, setup, trail scenes, safety support, food trucks or music. Groups, clubs and businesses can also create a themed section or activity and distribute candy. The Incline Tahoe Foundation is accepting contributions for candy, lighting used for safety and permit costs.

What to know
  • The event takes place at Village Green and Fitness Trails.
  • The celebration has been held annually since 2001.
  • Incline Tahoe Foundation donations help pay event expenses.
  • More information and registration are planned for fall.
