Virgin Atlantic is assigning its newest Airbus A330-900neo jets to selected transatlantic routes, but travelers will not have the same odds of finding the latest Upper Class cabin at every U.S. airport. Boston Logan and Tampa receive daily A330neo service to London Heathrow, making those routes the clearest choices for passengers seeking the newer suites.

New York JFK and Miami also see A330neo flights, although both routes use several aircraft types. Miami is more commonly served by the Airbus A350-1000. Washington Dulles has four weekly A330neo departures, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Seasonal weekend flights link Atlanta with Manchester, and Orlando with both Heathrow and Manchester.

The updated Upper Class cabin offers 48 suites in a one-seat-per-row layout. Seats are 22 inches wide and convert into beds measuring 6 feet 7 inches. Each includes a closing door, wireless charging, Bluetooth audio and a 17.3-inch 4K screen. Two larger Retreat Suites sit at the front, with 27-inch screens and ottomans that can serve as companion seats. Future deliveries are planned to increase those front-cabin suites from two to six, while Virgin Atlantic works toward 19 A330neos by 2028.
