Emirates Adds Regular A380 Service in One Month
The aircraft previously made a single visit there in 2010.

Emirates will place an Airbus A380 on one daily Dubai–Delhi round trip beginning October 25, 2026. The aircraft will operate the EK512/513 rotation, making scheduled A380 service to Delhi a new regular offering after the type’s single flight there in July 2010. That earlier trip marked 25 years of Emirates’ Indian operations.
The superjumbo will cover only one of Emirates’ four daily departures in each direction. Three other rotations use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, leaving Dubai at 4:20 AM, 9:55 AM and 3:10 PM; the A380 leaves at 9:30 PM. Emirates budgets about 3.5 hours for the journey. Each A380 flight has 468 seats: 14 in first class, 76 in business, 56 in premium economy and 322 in economy.
Delhi will become Emirates’ third A380 destination in India, alongside Mumbai and Bengaluru. The airline plans 720 India-bound rotations from Dubai International in November 2026, averaging about 14 per day. Across the Dubai–Delhi market, 382 departures are scheduled that month, with Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and flydubai also operating flights.
