Carnival Jubilee has expanded its schedule from Galveston, Texas, with Bahamas sailings. The ship made its first trip there in late September, ending a period of almost three years devoted solely to Western Caribbean routes.

The eight-night itinerary visits Nassau, Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The latter two are Carnival Cruise Line private island destinations where Jubilee had not previously called. Three days at sea are also included, and Carnival plans to run the route regularly through 2028.

Built by Meyer Werft, the 5,400-passenger, LNG-powered Jubilee entered service in late 2023. It was the third vessel added to Carnival Cruise Line’s Excel class and has operated throughout the year from Galveston since its opening season. Its earlier seven-night program served Mexico and Honduras, including Cozumel, Costa Maya and Mahogany Bay. That Roatán port, in Honduras’ Bay Islands Department, was renamed Isla Tropicale earlier this year. Jubilee will continue visiting the Western Caribbean between Bahamas departures, using six-night itineraries that stop at Cozumel and Isla Tropicale. Carnival Dream and Carnival Breeze also sail from Galveston, while Carnival Miracle is due to operate a seasonal 2026-27 program there.
