TEDxSouthLakeTahoe will bring seven speakers to Lake Tahoe Community College on Saturday, Oct. 3. The program is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. inside the Duke Theatre at the college’s main campus in South Lake Tahoe.

The lineup includes people from several fields, including a founder working in wildfire technology, an adventure photographer and a magician. Their talks will focus on experiences that are often less visible, such as the weight carried by people who appear resilient and the small moments that can support healing and renewed connection.

General admission costs $75. Student tickets are $37.50. The price includes appetizers, drinks, entertainment during the break and an opportunity to meet other members of the South Lake Tahoe community. Tickets and speaker information are available through tedxsouthlaketahoe.org. Group buyers can contact LTCC’s CONNECT office at 530-541-4660, extension 717. The event is independently organized under a TED license.
