TCPUD Seeks Input on Tahoe City Community Center Property
The public meeting is set for Oct. 27 at North Tahoe High School.

Tahoe City Public Utility District will gather public perspectives on recreation at the Tahoe City Community Center property during an October 27 meeting. The session starts at 6 p.m. at North Tahoe High School and is part of TCPUD’s ongoing planning and feasibility study.
TCPUD will present an overview of the study, early facility ideas, findings from a survey with nearly 1,200 responses, and factors that could shape later choices. Attendees will be able to examine the initial concepts, ask questions, offer comments, and speak directly to the Board about recreation needs and concerns. Most of the session is reserved for community feedback.
The study covers possible changes and uses for the existing property at 401 West Lake Boulevard. Options being examined include a gymnasium indoors, an aquatics facility indoors, or one indoor recreation facility combining uses. TCPUD has not selected a concept or decided to move forward with construction. Public feedback will inform the Board as it weighs possible next steps. Community members may RSVP beforehand to help TCPUD estimate attendance.

Evenings at the lodge now end on the sand: s'mores kits at the front desk, blankets by the door, and the lake going quiet at dusk.
Lakeside rooms with a private deck, a fire pit on the beach, and coffee at sunrise.
