South Tahoe Classic brings vintage vehicles to Heavenly Village
The October weekend includes awards, a poker run, sales and a raffle supporting Good Sam Safe Ride.
Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe will host the South Tahoe Classic and Old Car Giveaway from October 16 through 18, 2026. The gathering welcomes cars, trucks and motorcycles, with trophies, a poker run, sidewalk shopping and a raffle planned during the weekend.
The event supports Good Sam Safe Ride, a nonprofit effort created to help intoxicated drivers and their companions get home safely. Its teams use two sober drivers: one takes the person and friends home in their vehicle, while the other follows behind. The service is provided without charge, and donations help sustain it.
The fundraiser grew from an earlier celebration built around mid-century style and classic vehicles. That event included a vehicle show, a sock hop, contests involving dancing, clothing and hairstyles, and a donated older car awarded through a low-cost raffle.
- The event runs October 16-18, 2026.
- Heavenly Village is the South Lake Tahoe location.
