REACH Air Medical Services is marking 25 years of backcountry rescue work in South Lake Tahoe, and it is doing so with a new name and look. When someone is hurt deep in Desolation Wilderness, the helicopter crew lands at a designated spot and hikes in to reach the patient. The rebrand comes as the service passes a quarter century of those missions.
