Incline Village Library Offers One-on-One Help Oct. 13
A 50-minute librarian appointment can cover online applications, email setup, resumes and library services.

A librarian at the Incline Village Library can provide 50 minutes of individual assistance. The session may focus on filling out an online job application, filing for unemployment, creating an email address or applying for government assistance. An appointment must be reserved no later than 24 hours before the session.
Patrons should arrive with everything required for the task they want to address. Depending on the project, that could include documents, account logins and passwords, a cell phone, or storage in the form of a flash drive or a cloud-based service. Anyone who needs a flash drive may purchase one from the library for $6.
The appointment is intended to provide guidance while the patron handles the work. Library employees may assist with the process, but they are not permitted to evaluate, check or finish materials on someone’s behalf. Reservations are made through the library’s session-booking link. The reservation platform places one or more browser cookies and records IP addresses and browser details in its server logs. That information is used to create anonymous usage statistics for the institution, and neither the cookies nor the information is shared with third parties.
