Family Story Time Set for Incline Village Library
The October 13 program includes stories, fingerplays, movement and a Stay & Play session.

Story Time welcomes children of every age to explore literacy and language together with their families. Books, fingerplays and active movement are combined to build enthusiasm for reading, support thinking, spark creativity and encourage wellbeing.
Attendance is limited to maintain safety and a good program experience, so registration is strongly encouraged. At locations where demand is high, a reservation may be necessary to secure a child’s seat. Families should include only the children in their registration count. Every adult must attend with at least one child, and a caregiver must remain with the children throughout Story Time.
Families are asked to arrive promptly, silence their phones and put away snacks and toys. Anyone expecting to arrive over five minutes late should attend another day rather than disrupt the session. Adults should participate with their children and save conversations with other caregivers for before or after the program. A child who becomes distracting can step outside the Story Time space with their caregiver. Afterward, Stay & Play offers music, STEAM toys and social time. Anyone who feels ill, or has sickness in their household, should remain home.
- Children of every age may participate.
- Register only the children who will attend.
- At least one caregiver must remain throughout Story Time.
- Arrivals more than five minutes late should attend another day.
