Good Sam Safe Ride, a nonprofit based on the South Shore, will close its 2026 car-show season with a weekend gathering at Heavenly Village. Admission is free, and vehicle owners can participate without paying a fee. The event celebrates older and classic automobiles through a show and giveaway.

Vehicle check-in opens Friday at 9 a.m. Saturday brings the presentation of 25 trophies, with the awards scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Raffle tickets will be drawn Sunday, making Saturday and Sunday the principal activity days highlighted by show coordinator Tom Argo. Argo also noted that Tahoe’s colors are changing around the time of the event.

For visitors spending the weekend in South Lake Tahoe, the venue is located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way. The gathering also marks the end of Good Sam Safe Ride’s summer calendar for old cars and serves as the organization’s final show of the 2026 season. Details about the nonprofit and its events are available at www.goodsamsaferide.com.
