McKinney National Airport will add four Avelo routes shortly after its passenger terminal begins serving travelers on Nov. 11, 2026. Flights to Atlanta and Denver start Dec. 16, followed by Nashville and New Orleans on Dec. 17. The airport uses the booking code DTX.

The new destinations expand Avelo’s planned McKinney network to nine cities. Initial November service includes Fort Myers on Nov. 11; Las Vegas and Orlando on Nov. 12; and Tampa and Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 19. Avelo will base three 184-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft at DTX and fly Wednesday through Monday.

The airport’s new terminal is nearing completion, and the Federal Aviation Administration has issued its operating certificate. Avelo expects the operation to support more than 100 positions, including pilots, flight attendants, technicians, ground crews and customer service staff. The added flights give Collin County travelers more nonstop options from a nearby airport as commercial service gets underway.
