JetBlue bookings disappear for October 13 and 14
Travelers say reservations were erased or shifted while customer service pointed to a technical malfunction.

JetBlue’s schedule appeared empty for departures on October 13 and 14, affecting travelers across its network. An overnight check found none of the carrier’s own service available through route searches on either date. Customers reported vanished reservations, cancellations and trips moved to another day, sometimes without receiving notice. One traveler said customer service described the changes as erroneous and said technical staff were working on the problem.
The disruption covered 550 routes, including service tied to Boston, New York, Florida, Puerto Rico, California and overseas destinations. Yet individual flight-number searches still displayed some October 13 departures as on schedule, complete with assigned aircraft. JetBlue’s booking system also continued offering United-operated options. Flights leaving October 12 and landing the next day remained visible because their departure date fell outside the affected period.
Restoring the timetable may not automatically repair altered reservations. JetBlue could also have to reconnect tickets, return travelers to their original journeys, recover seat selections and sort out bookings created by partner airlines. One customer’s morning October 13 flight was shifted to the prior evening. Another traveler reported losing an itinerary linking Los Angeles, New York and Dublin. When a flight is genuinely canceled, customers who reject replacement travel and credits qualify for refunds.
- The missing dates covered all 550 JetBlue routes.
- Nearby Tuesday and Wednesday schedules contained 1,618 flights.
- JetBlue completed 91.7% of planned flights during July.
