Hilton’s Surpass American Express card is offering a sizable sign-up package for applications submitted through January 13, 2027. New cardholders can receive 130,000 Hilton Honors points and one free-night reward after putting $3,000 in purchases on the card during the first six months. The night can cover a property priced as high as 250,000 points and remains usable for a year after issuance.

The card carries a $150 yearly fee and includes Hilton Gold status, which can add value for travelers who regularly stay with the hotel group. Cardholders earn 12 points per dollar at Hilton hotels worldwide, 6 points at U.S. restaurants, supermarkets and gas stations, 4 points on U.S. online retail purchases, and 3 points elsewhere. There are no foreign transaction fees, making it useful for international spending. Reaching $15,000 in annual purchases can also unlock a bonus free-night reward. Hilton award nights generally range from 5,000 to 250,000 points, while elite members receive a fifth award night free.
