Vessel’s Player VI and Player VI Pro bags go on sale September 23 with a new layout meant to simplify club handling during a round. Their offset openings separate clubs through channels that extend down the bag. A roomier putter section accommodates that club, while the revised bottom is built to limit snagging as clubs move in and out.

A magnetic Axis-Lock compartment keeps a rangefinder secure and lets golfers retrieve it in one movement. The Pro version adds more capacity, plus a choice between 7-way and 14-way club arrangements. Its ball compartment also closes magnetically instead of using a zipper. Vessel describes the standard model as the simpler choice and the Pro as the option for golfers seeking greater organization.

Familiar carrying and stand features remain, including Vessel’s rotating stand mechanism, its Equilibrium 2.0 carrying setup, lightweight carbon legs and compatibility with carts. Materials include synthetic leather made to tour-level standards and low-weight DXR ripstop fabric. Real leather accents, pocket linings treated to resist microbes and zippers designed to repel water complete the construction. Both versions will be sold through Vessel’s website.

What to know
  • Sales begin September 23 on Vessel’s website.
