The Mizuno Pro T-1 ranked first in National Club Golfer’s 2026 wedge review, earning 91.6 points out of 100. It also received the top looks rating, while offering six grind choices, eight lofts, three bounce options and three finishes, including blue.

The review covered 20 wedges and placed them through bunker shots, pitches, and lies ranging from tight to fluffy. Five golfers with different ages and handicaps took part. Testing used the same practice facility, a TaylorMade TP5 ball and Trackman measurements when applicable.

Titleist’s Vokey SM11 finished near the top, standing out for 27 configurations. Ping’s S259 posted an average of 7,228 rpm and scored 88 for feel. PXG’s Sugar Daddy III won five category awards and recorded 7,320 rpm from 50 yards, though its price reduced its value score. TaylorMade’s MG5 placed fifth with 87.6 points and tied for second in both spin categories. The review series will next examine distance-measuring devices.
